A few days before President Rodrigo Duterte finally stepped down, Malacañang announced more than twenty new laws. that includes additional benefits to Solo Parents.

Solo Parents in the country will receive additional benefits from the government under R.A. 11861.

that includes having
_ parental leave (7days w/ fee every year.
_ scholarship (solo parent and child)
_ 1000 monthly subsidy

and in addition there are additional discounts
_10% for VAT exception on child necessities
and also promotes
_work discrimination protection.
_ automatic health insurance coverage.

in addition, Malacañang published 25 new laws.
including the law further strengthening the policy against anti trafficking in persons.
ten laws forming the new campus of some universities and other actions in the education sector.

eight laws constituting marine hatcheries and other facilities in different parts of the country.

three laws on the arrangement of land transportation office offices and three other local laws.

At the same time, Malacañang will also declare September as "Philippine Bamboo Month"
under proclamation 1401.

and in separate executive order no.175 the government declared the TWELFTH regular foreign investment negative list.
