In the name of God, the Kind, the Caring.

1. By the aligners who align.

2. And the drivers who drive.

3. And those who deliver the Message.

4. Your God is certainly One.

5. Lord of the heavens, the earth, and everything in between, and Lord of the Easts.

6. We decorated the lower sky with the beauty of the planets.

7. And We protected it from every defiant devil.

8. They can’t eavesdrop on the Celestial Elite, for they get bombarded from all sides.

9. Repelled — they’ll have persistent suffering.

10. Except for the one who snatches a glimpse — he'll be chased by a piercing rocket.

11. Ask them: “Are they more difficult to create, or the ones We created?” We created them from sticky clay.

12. But you marvel, and they ridicule.

13. And when they're reminded, they pay no attention.

14. And when they see a sign, they laugh.

15. And they say, “This is nothing but obvious magic.

16. Will we be resurrected when we’re dead and have become dust and bones?

17. And our early ancestors?”

18. Say, “Yes, and you'll be subdued.”

19. It will be a single nudge, and they'll be watching.

20. They'll say, “Woe to us, this is Judgement Day.”

21. “This is the Day of Separation that you denied.

22. Gather together the wicked, and their types, and all that they worshipped.

23. Apart from God, and lead them to the path of the Blaze.

24. Stop them for interrogation.”

25. Why don't you help each other?

26. In fact, they’ll be submissive on that Day.

27. They'll turn to each other, questioning each other.

28. They'll say, “You approached us from the right.”

29. They'll say, “You yourselves weren't believers.

30. We had no control over you. You yourselves were abusers.

31. Our Lord’s judgment against us is fair. We taste it.

32. We seduced you. We were seducers.”

33. On that Day, they’ll share in the punishment.

34. That's how We deal with sinners.

35. When they were told, “There is no god but God,” they became arrogant.

36. And they said, “Should we abandon our gods for a delusional poet?”

37. In fact, he came with the truth, and he confirmed the messengers.

38. You will certainly taste the painful punishment.

39. And you’ll only be repaid for what you did.

40. This is not the case with God’s chosen worshipers.

41. They'll have a known provision.

42. Fruits. And they’ll be honored.

43. In the Gardens of Bliss.

44. On furniture, face to face.

45. They'll be served in cups filled from a flowing fountain.

46. White and delicious for drinkers.

47. Never polluted and never intoxicating.

48. With them will be young women of modest appearance with beautiful eyes.

49. Like guarded pearls.

50. They’ll approach each other and ask questions.

51. One of them will ask, “I had a close friend.

52. Who always asked, “Do you really believe?

53. That when we’re dead and reduced to dust and bones, will we be judged?”

54. He would say, “Do you want to see?”

55. He will look — and see him amid Hell.

56. He will say, “By God, you almost ruined me.

57. Were it not for my Lord’s favor, I would have been among the arrested.”

58. “We won’t die.

59. Except for our first death, and we won’t be punished.”

60. This is the outstanding achievement.

61. Workers should work for the same thing.

62. Is this better hospitality; or the Tree of Bitterness?

63. We made it an ordeal for the wicked.

64. It’s a tree that grows from the depths of Hell.

65. Its fruits are like the heads of devils.

66. They'll eat from it — and fill their bellies with it.

67. Then, on top of it, they'll drink a boiling brew.

68. Then they'll return to the Blaze.

69. They found their ancestors misguided.

70. And they followed in their footsteps.

71. Most of the ancients were misguided.

72. Although We sent them warners.

73. Note the fate of the forewarned.

74. It's is not the case with God’s devoted servants.

75. When Noah prayed to Us, We answered graciously.

76. We saved him and his family from the great catastrophe.

77. And We made his descendants the survivors.

78. And We preserved his mention in succeeding generations.

79. Peace be upon Noah, of all people.

80. That's how We reward the righteous.

81. He was Our faithful servant.

82. Then We drowned the others.

83. Abraham was of the same group.

84. He turned to his Lord with a sound heart.

85. He asked his father and his people, “What do you worship?

86. Do you want false gods besides God?

87. What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds?”

88. He looked at the stars.

89. And he said, “I am sick.”

90. But they turned away and left him alone.

91. Then he turned to their gods, and said, “Don’t you eat?

92. Why don’t you speak?”

93. Then he turned against them, and he struck them hard.

94. And they came running towards him.

95. He said, “Do you worship what you carve?

96. When God created you and what you make?”

97. They said, “Make a furnace for him, and throw him in the fire.”

98. They plotted against him, but We foiled their plan.

99. He said, “I'm going to my Lord. He will guide me.”

100. “My Lord, give me one of the righteous.”

101. Then We gave him the good news of a son of good character.

102. When he was old enough to work with him, he said: “My son, I saw in a dream that I was sacrificing you; so what do you think?” He replied, “Father, do as you're told; God willing, you’ll find me, patient.”

103. When they submitted and laid down his forehead.

104. We announced: “O Abraham!

105. You fulfilled the vision.” That's how We reward the righteous.

106. It was a straightforward test.

107. And We redeemed him with a great sacrifice.

108. And We left his tribute to the future generations.

109. Peace be upon Abraham.

110. That's how We reward the righteous.

111. He was Our faithful servant.

112. We gave him the good news of Isaac, a righteous prophet.

113. We blessed him and Isaac. Some of their children were righteous, and others clearly mistreated themselves.

114. We favored Moses and Aaron.

115. We saved them and their people from the terrible disaster.

116. We helped them become the winners.

117. We gave them the Luminous Scripture.

118. We guided them on the straight path.

119. And We left their praises among the generations to come.

120. Peace be upon Moses and Aaron.

121. That's how We reward the righteous.

122. They were Our faithful servants.

123. Elijah was a messenger.

124. He said to his people, “Don’t you pay attention?

125. Do you worship Baal, and you turn your backs on the Best Creator?

126. God is your Lord and Lord of your ancestors.”

127. But they called him a liar, so they'll be arrested.

128. It's not the case with God's chosen servants.

129. We left his praises among later generations.

130. Peace be upon Elijah.

131. That's how We reward the righteous.

132. He was Our faithful servant.

133. Lot was a messenger.

134. We saved him and his whole family.

135. Except for an older woman, who remained behind.

136. Then We destroyed the others.

137. You pass their ruins in broad daylight.

138. And at night. You don't understand?

139. Jonah was a messenger.

140. When he fled aboard the overloaded ship.

141. He gambled and lost.

142. A whale swallowed him up, and it was his fault.

143. If he hadn't praised.

144. He would've stayed in its belly until the Day they're raised.

145. Then We threw him out into the open air, and he was exhausted.

146. And We made a gourd tree grow over him.

147. Then We sent him to a hundred thousand or more.

148. They believed, so We made them happy for a while.

149. Ask them, “Are the daughters for your Lord, and the sons for themselves?”

150. Did We create the angels females, and they witnessed?”

151. No indeed! It's another of their illusions when they say.

152. “God has begotten.” They are liars.

153. So He prefers daughters to sons?

154. What’s the matter with you? How do you judge?

155. Don’t you think?

156. Or do you have evidence?

157. Bring your book if you speak the truth.

158. They declare relationships between Him and demons. But demons know that they’ll be summoned.

159. Glory to God, far beyond what they imagine.

160. It's not the case with God’s sincere worshipers.

161. You and what you worship.

162. Can't lure away from Him.

163. Except for him who will roast in Hell.

164. “Each of us has a role to play.

165. We're the arrangers.

166. And we're the glorifiers.”

167. Even though they used to say.

168. “If we had a scripture like the people of the past.

169. We would've been like God's faithful worshipers.”

170. But they rejected it. So they’ll find out soon.

171. Our promise to the messengers, Our servants, was fulfilled.

172. They were helped.

173. And Our troops will be the winners.

174. So leave them for a while.

175. And watch them — they’ll soon realize it.

176. Do they want Our punishment to come sooner?

177. When it descends on their yard, it will be a terrible morning for the forewarned.

178. So leave them for a while.

179. And look, they'll soon see.

180. Glory to your Lord, Lord of Might, far beyond their claims.

181. And peace be upon the Messengers.

182. And praise be to God, Lord of the Universes.
