Awaken Bible Prophecy Update 6-29-22: Making Sense of “Days of Noah” Prophecy

Many of us who watch the world through the lens of Bible prophecy may be scratching our heads wondering how to process what we anticipate may soon happen versus our understanding of what Scripture says. It appears as though something is out-of-whack. On one hand we have Jesus declaring in the “Days of Noah” prophecy that everything in the world seems to be operating normally. On the other hand, Jesus also said that because the world hates Him, it will hate us. The result of that is, as Paul wrote to Timothy:Show more

Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. (2 Timothy 3:12)

This certainly seems to imply that although we in America have had unprecedented peace and protection from persecution, we may have it yet. In fact, given various legitimate, predictive dreams that correlate with the dire straits we’re currently facing from the hostile activities of our own government, it almost seems assured that we’ll face tribulations and suffering before the pre-Tribulation Rapture delivers us from this hostile and alien place. Add to that the warnings in Romans 1 and 2 Timothy 3 of what the hearts of pagans all around us in the world will manifest in the last days, and it’s a very threatening picture.

Then we have Paul in 2 Thessalonians 5 indicating that many will be saying peace and security are just around the corner when sudden disaster hits, and we’ve got this apparently contradictory situation.

As a result of thinking about these things, I have some ideas. What I conclude may or may not ultimately be correct, but it will hopefully give you something to chew on, as presumably, we all try to make sense of what we’re experiencing in light of Scripture.
