[ Ukraine SITREP ] Day 16 Summary - ColdSnap allow open warfare in Donetsk Front; Kyiv counterattack

The slow news day on Day 16 turn out to be not so slow as the day progress: Russian forces taking advantage of the hard frozen ground due to the arrival of the cold snap, started large scale maneuver warfare at the Donetsk Front as they moved the frontline to probably 15km forward, to the Velyka Novosilka - Volodymyrivka defense line that I had talked so much about over the past week.

The twin Russian detachment forces had converged at Novovorontsovka, 36km west of Nikopol; and the Kyiv Ukrainian Forces counterattack on the Russian congregation east of Brovary at the entrenched position along the Bohdanivka.
