Tangerine Tree Volume 56: Germany 1981 features the complete Berlin concert from January 1981, except for Silver Scale and Horns Of Doom, as the best source tape available had lots of scratches and unlistenable skipping sounds. So that part was left out, and the complete FM broadcast of the Gelsenkirchen Lukaskirche concert from 1981 was added, forming the last three tracks on the second disc.

As with all releases of the Tangerine Tree project, this release is made by fans for fans. It must not be sold but is to be traded freely.
