I chat with Samir Saran from the Observer Research Foundation (ORF), one of Asia’s most influential think tanks about the journey of Indian Foreign Policy. We touch upon the era of Non-Alignment and the current India-China conflict and its repercussions on the future of our foreign policy. We also touch upon some of the philosophical foundations that enable the formulation of a nation's Foreign Policy. Can India have its own unique Drishti/Gaze when it comes to Foreign Policy?

Mr. Samir Saran is the President of the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) and Chair of CyFy: The India Conference on Technology, Security, and Society. He is co-founder and the curator of the Raisina Dialogue, India's premier platform on geopolitics and geoeconomics. Samir is a commissioner on the Global Commission for the Stability of Cyberspace, an international multistakeholder body working to discover and detail the norms and rules that will help in managing cyber regimes implicating international security. He is also a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Geopolitics and a member of its South Asia Advisory Board where he consults on digital and tech sector issues.
