Why do I call Jesus the "ceiling" to truth? As Christians we are trained to say that "Only Jesus is the Truth". I made a post the other day already indicating and referring to this "ceiling"... psychological ceiling, that is our limit to knowing truth. And why do I call Jesus who is acclaimed to be The Way and the Life and the Truth? Why do I refer to Jesus as a ceiling and barrier to truth?

Well, Jesus only fits a specific parameter of truth, of what our "mind" will accept as truth. And don't let it fool you, your mind HAS a limited parameter and perimeter drawn around what truth is supposed to look like. It causes you to only be able to accept what is "biblically kosher".

When Jesus is your "only" truth, you have no capacity to find truth in for example astrology, the star science, the planetary science... you have no capacity to see truth in metaphysics, you have no capacity to see truth in mysticism, you have no capacity to see truth within new age, you have no capacity to see truths in theosophy. Do you see what I am saying? It leaves your mind in a very narrow bandwidth of knowing and perceiving truth, universal truth. That's why I call Jesus the "ceiling" and limitation to truth.

The way I broke through my ceiling, was that at one point my soul became so thirsty and Jesus could no longer quench it. It could not be satiated and satisfied.

And what I did, instead of setting the absolute parameter and declaring that "only Jesus is the way and the truth and the life", I broke through the parameter and in saying, in asking, in praying and I said "God" (even God has certain parameters within people's minds, as to who and what he is).

And so, I chose the term Universe for God, because universe extended beyond the definition that was formed in my mind by the Christian religion. And so I used the word "God", I used the word "Spirit of Truth", but today the subconscious intent, the petition was really made to the universe. Because the universe at the time represented a more extended representation of God.

And so, my petition was to the universe and to the Spirit of Truth "to show me what I need to know". And I did not set limitations on this, by thinking that "only Jesus, only show me what fits within the parameter of Jesus" - no, I was intentionally, I set my intention to go beyond Jesus... if there is truth to be known that would extend beyond Jesus, I wanted to know it.

And, that is how I broke through the "ceiling" in my mind, by no longer limiting my truth to "just Jesus" and just what would come through the mouth of Jesus, or what would fit with the culture and history of Jesus.

Life is so vast, truth is so vast. It's a playground out there in the universe. And there is so much exciting stuff to know, once we extend outside of the boundaries and limitation of "Jesus alone".

So, break through the ceiling, have the courage to see what is beyond the perimeter of Jesus. Even if you think Jesus is the ALL, it's manifesting in a very small way, and a small life in Christians' experience.
