Team Green at Battle of the Teams - Taupo 2022

Battle of the teams is a one-of-a-kind event that turns our predominantly individual sport of motocross into a team sport. Replicating the Motocross of Nations event format, the local version helps fundraise for our Kiwi riders to contest the real deal overseas.

Held in Taupo on Saturday, 6 riders team up with their scores counting toward the team total using Olympic-style points against more than 30 other teams entered.

Massive congrats to our 2 teams "Team Green" for 3rd overall and "Team Good Times" for 5th overall.

We were also lucky enough to host 3x World Champion Courtney Duncan who put on a show for the crowd!

Thoughts go out to Flynn Watts for his crash (and resultant injury) late in the day after winning his 1st moto.
