Virtually all ambidextrous charging handles use levers with a pivot point close to the shaft of the charging handle. The Jackal Charging Handle inverts the position of the levers, protecting them against accidental activation, while providing a smoother, more linear action. In addition, the levers are truly independent of each other. Damage or debris that might block one lever from actuating will not take the entire system down. The other unobstructed lever can still be used successfully.
