As global politicians parrot talking points about increasing the oil supply, geopolitical problems are threatening supplies from Libya and Ecuador and a hot mic incident between US President Joe Biden and French President Emanuel Macron indicates Saudi Arabia and the UAE have little to no spare capacity available. Meanwhile the EIA again failed to deliver last weeks Gasoline and Diesel inventory levels as promised due to a suspiciously timed "voltage irregularity" affecting it's servers. The proximity to the 4th of July Holiday in the US and the likely impact of a gas price hike on President Biden's poll numbers can't be ignored.
