Trump takes victory lap on Supreme Court's Roe ruling at Illinois rally

Former President Donald Trump focused his first public appearance after the Supreme Court voted to overturn Roe v. Wade decrying Democratic activists who poured into the streets after a draft opinion for the case was leaked.

Speaking to supporters at one of his "Save America" rallies in Mendon, Illinois, Saturday evening, the former commander-in-chief celebrated the ruling as "a victory for the rule of law and above all, a victory for life," and slammed protesters who demonstrated outside the homes of the conservative justices.
