The USA and Nicaragua - an interview with Brian S. Willson
4 years ago
2
Brian Willson is a veteran of the US war against Viet Nam during which he experienced an epiphany which helped him realize that he needed to remake his identity and develop an ethos of solidarity with the victims of US imperial aggression. That profound change led him to work in solidarity with many countries but especially with Nicaragua and the Sandinista Revolution. In this interview he discusses the current turmoil in the United States following the murder of George Floyd on May 25th and his interpretation of what it means for people in the United States.
