NEW Trails Game in Development!! Is it the START of a NEW Arc?

Toshihiro Kondo sat down with Famitsu and talked about what we could expect from the next trails game explaining the combat system is going to take a more action oriented approach then past games and try something completely new. He also said though some of the characters from previous games would be popping up the main cast was going to be brand new. Leading me to believe we could be seeing what is going to be a new arc.
