The world's largest open pit museum discovered in 1974 at Lishan, China. An extraordinary feat of craftsmanship that surpasses any other like it in the world. It was created to honour the late Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang.
Although it's been claimed by numerous archaeologists, a mega tomb fit for the Emperor's afterlife, certain aspects remain unclear. How is it possible that the clay warriors convey unique features that were cast from the same moulds?
Was it built for an entirely different purpose?
