While messing around during the taping of a video about Open G tuning, I discovered a sweet-sounding, simple way to play the G to Gmaj7 intro to Everybody's Talkin'.

Next thing I knew, I laid down drums and a rhythm guitar track, playing my birch-bodied 1958 Stella H-929 (in Open G, of course).

I added a bass part on my early-90s 1957 reissue Fender P-Bass, Made in Japan (MIJ).
Sang the lead vocal into an AKG-414 B-ULS and layered a couple of harmonies using an old-radio-effect EQ for a little sonic spice.
Frosting on the cake provided by lead and rhythm parts played on my 1968 Gibson SG Special — the first electric guitar I ever owned, and the one I played on hundreds of gigs in my pre-teen and teen rock n' roll years.

I hope you enjoy it!
