The US, Taiwan, and China are going at it over the South China Sea. After US sailed warships through the Taiwan Strait, China launched a series of military drills and missile tests, including an aircraft carrier killer missile. The US doesn't seem worried. The Philippines says it would turn to the US if there were a confrontation with China over a South China Sea dispute for the Scarborough Shoal. Activision censored the trailer for a new game Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War because of footage of the Tiananmen protests. And mandatory coronavirus vaccine tests on state workers plus an insane coronavirus lockdown for the Uyghurs in Urumqi, Xinjiang. That and more on this week's China news headlines.
