Pregnancy crisis centres targeted in the US

Pregnancy crisis centres have become the new front line of the battle over abortion rights in the United States.
The controversial clinics have been targeted by vandals in the wake of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v Wade.
Mountain Area Pregnancy Services is one of almost 30 clinics similar to it that have been targeted by pro-choice militants in recent weeks.
The centre is what’s known by critics as a pregnancy crisis centre, which are free clinics where women can go for help with an unplanned pregnancy run by pro-life advocates.
Activists spray-painted a warning on the front steps of the centre, writing ‘if abortions aren’t safe, neither are you’.
