Fairfield Police Department releases body camera footage of officer-involved shooting

The Fairfield Police Department has released the body camera footage of an incident where an officer shot a man who pointed a gun at him.
The incident occurred on June 7 in the 3300-block of Port Union Road, police said.
In the video, officers are seen asking a man to drop his weapon but he refuses.
Police said the man got into a shooting stance and pointed the weapon officers, who in response, fired several rounds from his handgun, striking the man.
The officer in the video was identified as Robert Nick Davis, officials said.
The man seen standing in the roadway was identified as 36-year-old Rodolfo Molina-Hernandez.
