There are articles that claim McCovey retracted her support for the pro-life movement on her deathbed. Still other articles claim that McCovey said she was paid to lie to the Supreme Court in order to influence them to make the historic pro-abortion decision 50 years ago. Norma McCovey's life was one that left more questions than answers. It is difficult to know which stories to believe. Clearly Norma McCorvey was a tormented person with a lifetime of troubles, It is clearly difficult to know exactly where she stood on the topic of abortion rights and/or the right to life at the end of her life. Money was her motivation for many of the things that she said and did publicly throughout her life. Only the Lord Jesus Christ knows for certain where her loyalties and her heart were anchored at the time of her passing in 2017. We can only hope that she repented, renounced the god of money, and made Jesus Christ the Lord of her life.
