"Grace for Those in Trouble" | A Song for All Seasons, Part 05 | Tullian Tchividjian

This is Part 05 in a series on the Psalms that Tullian has entitled “A Song for All Seasons.”

In this message—“Grace for Those in Trouble”— Tullian looks at Psalm 107.

This Psalm describes people who are in distress for different reasons. Some are in trouble because of what someone has done to them, while others are in trouble because of what they have done to themselves. But it says of both groups that “they cried out to the Lord in their distress and he delivered them.”

We spend an inordinate amount of time trying to figure why someone is in trouble, why someone is in distress. Is it someone else’s fault? Is it their own fault? Is the person a victim or a perpetrator?

And while that is not unimportant, it’s not what matters most to God. What matters most to God is not why we’re in a ditch and whose fault it is. What matters most to God is who we cry out to for help from the ditch.

We hope this message is a massive encouragement to you…
