Waltz in the Woods with Wasps #CinewhoopWednesday

Test and Tuning session for the Reptile Cloud 149 HD in the woods with Xplicit FPV and Shawn the Vaper after adding about 100g of TPU mods to the quad. While trying to find a shallow spot to cross the river, I stumbled into a Bald-faced hornet nest. What I learned about these makes sense as they attacked my face (they shoot venom from their stingers at a distance) and some got into my right triceps area with their stingers while I was covering my face. I am grateful that I wear safety sunglasses and that I had 2 buddies with me in the event things escalated - 5 stings or squirts total. Chris and Shawn were already across the river and I ended up in a daze for a few minutes after running like a madman thru the river evading the swarm with 20 lbs of gear on my back that couldn't get wet. I somehow recovered after about 30 minutes as my vision started to brighten up and was able to fly, although still shaky for a few hours.

The "Bald-Faced Hornet" is actually a species of Yellowjacket Wasp. I think they took exception at my naming convention of some of my quads, such as my 3" "Murder Hornet" freestyle and my Emax 6S 5" Buzz "Buzzy"

Not the most stable flight as we took cover under the canopy from the wind - this session told me I need to shave about 50-100 grams from the overall build so going to put the AutoCAD time in this week and optimize and re-print my TPU designs accordingly. Also getting pretty close with the PID tune on the Mamba F722 Stack - gonna hit these this week and play with my response curves for throttle and roll. Pretty happy with yaw at the moment.
