Russian hacker group Killnet attacked Lithuanian government and businesses after ultimatum

"We greet you, the Lithuanian government. Now you need to listen to our appeals, because you have no chance to confront us. You have 48 hours to unblock transit to Kaliningrad. If this does not happen, more than 500 companies in your country will find themselves in terrible conditions on Monday. We are waiting for an immediate response. We are ready to deliver a pinpoint blow to the heart of your system. Don't bet the welfare of your citiznes. Solve this issue by yourself, or we will solve it for you."

Russian hackers have paralyzed the work of Lithuanian websites in response to the blockade of Kaliningrad.

After Killnet hacking and DDoS attacks, the websites of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, tax inspection, airports, accounting programs and access to surveillance cameras stopped working in Lithuania.

In total, more than 1,000 web resources have already been disabled, many of them belonging to government agencies.

"We continue to hint to the Lithuanian authorities that they should withdraw their decision to ban the transit of Russian goods from the Kaliningrad region to Russia," the hackers report.

Two days ago, the Killnet group announced that it was giving Lithuania 48 hours to unblock transit to Kaliningrad, otherwise "the country's companies will find themselves in monstrous conditions."
