Leg Day Video | Easy Meal Prep Recipes

Hey YouTube! Thank you so much for tuning into another video! Today is the dreaded LEG DAY!!! I want to show you some of the exercises I do on this day. I also want to share with you two very easy meal prep ideas. The first essentially requires no skill or cooking, and is for people who do not know how to cook.

The second is also a very easy recipe, that I truly believe even someone who doesn't know how to cook can achieve this recipe as followed:

1 pound ground meat of choice
1 frozen bag on lima beans defrosted
2 cups chopped yellow squash
2 cups bone chicken broth
1 14oz can petite diced tomatoes
2 tablespoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon cumin

Pre-heat pot and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Add minced garlic and sauté (garlic cooks quickly). Add ground meat of choice and cook until brown. Add all seasonings and mix. Do not worry if bottom of pan gets burnt that is all flavor! Add petite diced tomatoes and mix. Add thawed lima bean and mix. Add chicken bone broth and bring to a boil. Add yellow squash, lower heat and simmer for 20mins. Serve in bowl, garnish with sharp cheddar cheese and sour cream.
