A good example of a strategic error

When I parked and set up my tripod to wait for the eruption the wind was blowing the steam to the side

Just about 5 minutes before it erupted, the wind shifted and I was now downwind

I should have moved!

The spray leaves water spots (sinter) on your car and camera lenses that are nearly impossible to remove after they dry
