GLANCING HEAD ON COLLISION, SCHWAB CITY TEXAS, 06/26/22...

Glancing Head On Collision, No Injuries, SCHWAB CITY, June 26, 2022 - At approximately 6:15 pm on June 26, 2022, the driver of a silver 2018 Chrysler 300 was south-bound on US-146. The driver was waiting to make a left turn onto FM-943. At that moment, the driver of a white 2012 Dodge pickup was north-bound on 146. As the Dodge was about to pass the Chrysler, the Dodge allegedly crossed the center line causing a glancing head on collision. The Dodge slid to the shoulder on the south-bound side of 146. The Chrysler remained on the pavement spun around facing east. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the South Polk County Volunteer Fire Department and Trooper Donny Akers with the Texas Highway Patrol. Fortunately, there were no injuries. The driver of the Dodge is facing a citation for failure to maintain a single lane of traffic. The driver of the Chrysler was cited for violation of driver's license restriction B.
