What is a Jezebel Spirit and how to deal with it - Pastor Jimmy Evans

The Jezebel Spirit (man or woman) is a spirit of control, it seeks to control people and circumstances, by manipulation. All control is allowed by those it targets. A man controls a woman because she allows it. A woman controls a man because he allows it. A Pastor controls a church because the church allows it. A church member controls the Pastor because the Pastor allows it. A Jezebel Spirit is self proclaimed, often saying God told them to do what they do but does not have humble, Godly fruit to prove their calling. This spirit needs calm, strong Godly authority to tell it no and to show them the door if they persist in disruptive, manipulative controlling behavior. A real called prophet to the church will give correction when needed in a sensitive, orderly, timely manner, using scriptures in context and they will be walking in obedience to the Lord themselves.
