Severodonetsk is now under Russian control, liberating more area east of the Seversky Donets river

The major city of Severodonetsk has come under the full control of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), Russian military spokesman Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov announced in a statement on Saturday.

This includes 800 civilians who were finally able to leave the territory of the Azot factory in Severodonetsk, where they had been held by Ukrainian soldiers who had dug in.
