Leading up to Fall, I check my collection for anything that may need to be done so that the orchids still have enough time to 'settle' into any changes I have to implement as a result of what they are doing. This Phalaenopsis is a vigorous grower, and despite not seeing anything that raises concern, it is one of the summer blooming Phals, that is growing aerial roots which I would prefer to have in the pot. Why? Because they are safer inside the pot, than me handling the orchid for several months, risking knocking the roots off and breaking them.
