CATTLEYA DOWIANA, after 1 year in SEMI HYDRO | I want to grow another big growth like the recent one
#Cattleyadowiana #SemiHydro #Selfwatering
Supposedly it is the end of the growing season! As that may be true for some orchids, others still show signs of new growths and roots, so ... I do not go by what the calender says, but what my orchids say. Cattleya dowiana has made a considerable size jump in this year's growth and is now charging ahead with another one. Based on the fact that it is a vigorous root grower, I do not want this new growth to 'run out of room' in the pot, as it is also chucking out new roots like there is no tomorrow. In order to ensure the root health within the pot, and that nothing gets choked out and looses the oxygen supply, I am going to have a look at what is in the pot, and decide what needs to be done.
I really appreciate the fact that you took the time to watch my video. I am very open to any comments or questions, this video may have brought up.
