How to Reduce Lag in Shotcut [by enabling Proxy]

Shotcut is a fantastic video editor, it contains all the tools you need to produce high quality videos. However, on lower-end computers or when using particularly high quality footage, Shotcut can be slow and have performance issues. To address this, you can enable a Proxy. This video answers the following questions:
- What is a Proxy?
- Why Use a Proxy?
- What are the down sides of using a Proxy?

I go on to explain exactly how to enable a proxy and also show you how the storage settings work. Towards the end, I identify exactly how to do this on individual video clips, rather than the entire project.
