Welcome to another episode of #WWFuquan, a behind-the-scenes walk-through series dedicated to showing the before, during, and after process of property restorations, providing you with insights into the work that goes into this arduous (yet rewarding) process.

In this episode, Fuquan visits three of his properties – the near-complete Montclair property, the “White House”, and his Irvington, NJ rental property. Shadowing him for the day, we have Robert.
Challenges such as installing bigger water lines, and the waiting time for variances, permits, and architectural drawings can all cause significant delays and increase your costs. Some changes to the exterior of the properties, including changing the paint color, the colors of the doors, adding shutters to the windows, and even hand painting the exterior instead of spray painting can make a difference in quality and appeal.

Fuquan tells us that we need to be willing to go beyond what is expected of us, and that the quality of our work should be the same across the board.
