Sims 3 - New Update Coming Soon? 32 bit to 64 bit

Is the new update for Sims 3 going to be availabe for PC as well? EA is making a new update for Sims 3 for Mac. The reason they have to do this is because Catalina no longer supports 32 bit applications.

There are rumours that the new update to 64 bit will also be available for PC. It is my guess that this is indeed very likely. The reason why I think so is, because of the way the Mac version of the game is made (I explain this in the video) they have to make the update for PC first anyway. It is technically not possible to update the Sims 3 for Mac without updating Sims 3 for PC first.

And in my opinion, there is no reason to withhold the PC update, this would not be a smart move as it would only upset players. It makes no sense to do so when they have to make the update for PC anyway before they can even proceed to update the Mac game!

UPDATE: Meanwhile it is confirmed that the new Sims 3 update will be available for both Mac and PC! There is however, no confirmed date yet when this new update will be available, nor is there a timeline or anything. I will keep you informed on date and/or timeline as soon as I find out more!
