As someone who uses a capo quite often when playing live, there's nothing more frustrating and time-wasting than having to retune all 6 strings every time I change capo positions.

Some guitar necks — including the big C-shaped neck on my 1965 Harmony Rocket H59 — cause standard capos to pull sharp because their spring-clamp mechanisms put too much pressure on the strings. The problem usually gets worse as you place your capo at higher frets, where the neck usually gets thicker.
