Notes
"When men are pure, laws are useless;
when men are corrupt, laws are broken."
- Benjamin Disraeli

Tangerine Tree Volume 6: Bilbao 1976 presents a concert that took place in the Spanish city of Bilbao as part of Tangerine Dream's European tour in Winter 1976. Like the other gigs of this time period the concert was improvised for the most part, including some themes known from studio albums and other concerts of that time. The sound quality of this release is not as excellent as of most other volumes of Tangerine Tree, because it was not specially remastered for this release; thus there are several drop-outs. Nevertheless this volume is a good example for concerts of 1976, a year which is supposed by many fans to be Tangerine Dream's creative peak.

The track listing above shows titles according to the naming conventions used throughout this compilation and the revised artwork by Leah Cim. The track listing as printed on the original cover is as follows:

Part One 44:26
Part Two 43:00
Part Three 17:12
Part Four 9:54

In 2003, all material of this volume has been made officially available through the release of The Bootleg Box Set Vol. 1.

As with all releases of the Tangerine Tree project, this release is made by fans for fans. It must not be sold but is to be traded freely.
