Notes
"To die for an idea; it is unquestionable noble.
But how much nobler it would be if men died for ideas that were true!"
- H.L. Mencken

Tangerine Tree Volume 13: Germany 1976 is an exception to the rule that each volume features one single concert. Due to limited disc space, the Mannheim concert of 1976 did not fit on one single CD-R. Instead of releasing two half-empty discs, the 1976 concert in Saarbrücken was added. Thus, this Volume presents two concerts taken from audience master tapes. Saarbrücken was the second gig of the 1976 European winter tour that took place between January 23rd and February 11th, 1976. The Mannheim concert was performed during the European tour from October 20th to December 1st, 1976. Like most other concerts of that era, both gigs consist of mostly improvised material, including some themes known from other concerts.

The track listing above shows titles according to the naming conventions used throughout this compilation and the revised artwork by Leah Cim. The track listing as printed on the original cover is as follows:

Mannheim Part One 21:28
Mannheim Part Two 29:37
Mannheim Part Three 20:00
Mannheim Encore 10:34
Saarbrücken Part One 33:55
Saarbrücken Part Two 26:14
