Perfect takeaway and backswing drill that you can do at home right now. This will give you a on plane backswing and a smooth golf takeaway that you can rely on for consistency. And the feel is an A ha!

So let's say this is filled with water... I'm holding it here, trying to keep that water in the bowl as I make a golf takeaway. If we pull the hands on inside of the takeaway this will lead through to true problems, which is the hands kind of coming away or pulling in this way, the water's going to go flying out.

Right? Not very good.

Or if we lift up too early in the backswing or make a turn too early, the water's going to go out of the bowl.

We want to try and keep the water in till we get to about halfway here. Right? We're trying to keep the water.

This is giving us a perfect backswing plane, a natural arm, plane, a slightly steeper backswing.

We can now toss the water out of the bowl.

And that's getting you in a, into a very nice wide backswing that is on plane backswing that we can then deliver the club back to a solid downswing, shallow the downswing and get consistent impact.
