5 acre Fall Food Plot Update! Tractors & land management transformation

09-18-20 Join us for a Southern Illinois Land management client property food plot update! This property fall food plot project has been a joint venture between Kapper Outdoors and Heartland Deer Management services (Curtis Rogers), as we had to team up to tackle this rather large scale fall food plot project! Join us for an up to the minute update on the large scale fall food plots that I helped Curtis with in the last few weeks. I brought my Kioti RX7320 and home made disc chisel plow to help him work up this ground so that he could get some rather large fall deer food plots planted in short order on this land management client property here in Southern Illinois. I kicked off this project by bush hogging about 20 acres of overgrown fields on this farm with my Kioti RX7320 and a 12 foot batwing brush mower. After that Curtis sprayed all of the fields with herbicide (except for one last minute field, which you well see in this video), and the next step was for my to bring the Kioti RX7320 and my new home made disc chisel plow to work up this ground for some decent soil preparation for the fall food plots. Join us for an update on the largest food plot to see how it is doing, as well as to a 'last minute' smaller micro food plot that I worked up, and skimmed with my Kioti tractor loader to try to cheat the system! After I did this Curtis will bring in a 6 foot disc to work it up some more, and then plant if with a fall food plot mix.
