The 2020 revision of the Second Violin Sonata.
In just three movements, there is no slow movement, it's raw drama filled journey and akin to a thorn between the romantic and passionate fist and third sonatas. Melodic? Yes,. but it has no qualms about abandoning tonality to make a point. Likewise, where tonality is called for... it duly is...
