Mounting a 1/4 wave cb antenna on my roof

Today, I mounted a 1/4 wave steel whip antenna on my roof, to use as a base station antenna for my cb radio. Im running the radio off a battery that I will eventually get a solar charger for. had a chicken sir with me on the chair, chatted with the cat, talked on the cb. All in all, a pretty good day. Next projects are screen the front porch in, dig a well and put a cb on my john deere gator.
