Marvel VS DC - A Pointless Fan War

As someone who really enjoys both Marvel Comics and DC Comics, at least some of each, and really enjoys a lot of the movies and games both of these companies put out, I wanted to talk a bit about the whole Marvel vs DC or DC vs Marvel fandom war that I guess has been sort of a thing forever. I don't see it all the time, more just some discussions now about what characters would do in fights, which is cool to see, but occasionally people still spring up who think they're really shaking the hornets' nest by hating on one or the other. I just really don't understand caring enough about this to get super angry at it. If people want to talk about who would win in a fight or what story is more interesting etc that's cool, but I don't get the whole anger behind the subject.
