There's a very odd idea in gaming that somehow being new or graphically impressive makes a game good, while older games are somehow bad or relics of the past. I have never understood where this idea came from or how so many people can cling onto it. Some of my favorite games, like Final Fantasy 7, Fallout New Vegas, Dark Souls, Jak and Daxter, Bloodborne, Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil, Kingdom Hearts and more all have one thing in common - they're not new. Being new doesn't make something bad... but it also has no impact on its quality. #assassinscreed #retrogaming #finalfantasy
