It is critical to realize that the environment which Genesis 1 is taking place in is outer space, not earth, which did not exist for the first days. Man tends to be earth centric in his thinking, i.e. prior to Copernicus, and he assumes that earth is the center of all things and the creation must have been directed from earth. Once we correct this misconception, we can properly establish the time-frames involved.

God, through Moses, as part of His introduction of Himself to humans, writes in the bible, God's experience of creating the universe during a period of 6 days in the first verses of the bible.

Man’s science tells us that the Universe is no where near 6 days old, but is 5,475,000,000,000 days old.

Well one of these answers is really wrong or are they?
