Elaine Thompson-Herah qualified fastest for the women's 100m final at the Jamaica athletic championships, running 10.91s (0.5) to win the second semifinal ahead of Shericka Jackson and Kemba Nelson in an identical 10.98s.
Briana Williams won the second semi in 10.99s ahead of Remona Burchell (11.15s) and Jonielle Smith (11.23s seconds
