Jane's Revenge is a pro-choice domestic terror group, which has recently carried out violent attacks with the goal of swaying the Supreme Court and also instilling fear in those who oppose abortion. So far, the group has committed acts of firebombing, vandalism, and arson. The group was formed this year in response to the leak of a possible Supreme Court ruling overturning Roe v. Wade. Now that the court has overturned Roe, we will see just how serious this group is. My guess is extremely.

The name "Jane's Revenge" is seemingly a reference to the Jane Collective, an underground organization that helped woman find abortion providers prior to the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision.

Anticipating action by the court, Jane’s Revenge has issued several communiques, which serve as call to violence by anyone and everyone who opposes the courts decision. Here are there words:

The NIGHT OF RAGE: is ON!!!

This is a CALL TO ACTION AGAINST PATRIARCHAL SUPREMACY

On the night that the final ruling is issued——we are asking for courageous hearts to come out after dark.

This is an event that should inspire rage in millions of people ...

Why is it that we are so afraid to unleash hell upon those who are destroying us?

We need to get angry.

We need the state to feel our full wrath.

We need to express this madness fully and with ferocity. We need to quit containing ourselves.

We need them to be afraid of us.

Whatever form your fury takes, the first step is feeling it.

The next step is carrying that anger out into the world and expressing it physically.

Whoever you are and wherever you are, we are asking for you to do what you can to make your anger known.

To those who work to oppress us: If abortion isn’t safe, you aren’t either. We are everywhere.

We have selected a time of 8pm for actions nationwide to begin, but know that this is a general guideline. There may be other considerations involved in planning time and place. We do not claim to speak for every community or crew. We are simply calling out to you. And we hope you answer our cries.

You’ve read the communiqués from the various cells, you’ve seen the messages in graffiti and elsewhere, and you know that we are serious.
