It's amazing to me that they are passing these bills to help fight the gun crime issue in the country that is happening currently. The amazing part is that H.R. 1446 that I am going over today was received by them on March 11 of 2021 and wasn't read until May 24 of this year. If it is for the problem happening now and trying to combat it, why was is sitting there for 14 months and addressed last year?
