Personal Melodies and Variations for Descant Recorder.

Another free form session expressing inventions and personal melodies and variations on my Kung descant recorder in a particularly excellently acoustically pleasing spot in a mall in Timaru. At this time I had only been back in New Zealand for a short while having spent a couple of years living in Bavaria. Whilst there I played in a Bairischer Volksmusik Gruppe (Bavarian Folk Music Group) and somewhere near the end you will here me playing various melodies either that are melodies I played on flute in the group or some of my own inventions based around the form and style of the various folk music pieces I played there. Interspersed amongst my own inventions are also segments and excerpts of well-known classical pieces and other folk melodies from my Scottish ancestral background also.
