This Debate Won't Swing Any Votes

Everybody knows what they think about Donald Trump. Those who do not like him will not be won over tonight. What Trump does have an opportunity to do tonight is to energize people may not vote at all, to turn out to vote for him. Just like he did in 2016. Trump cannot take his 2016 voters for granted, many of the people he swung the rust belt in his favor had never voted or at least had not voted in a very long time. Those people will sit out the 2020 election if Trump does not give them a good reason to show up again.
