Beach Line and Wash: KOMBI Van! [Watercolor tutorial]

This is a BEACH Line and Wash tutorial - How to Paint a Kombi Van scene.
I made this video based on everyone's feedback on our Facebook group poll -
Looks like beaches/seascapes came up on top.
Get ready for #inktober in this Full-Length (with voice-over) Line and Wash painting tutorial! I will show you how to paint this classic Kombi Van beach landscape through my two step method.

This tutorial is aimed towards beginners, and is part of a series of full-length pen and wash videos that I'll be uploading.

Sketching - My Simple two step method with two brushes:
1) Using a 3/4" flat brush or smaller, add a thin wash of your lighter values to the sky, sea and land. Don’t worry if they mix a little. While this wash is still wet, introduce some slightly darker pigment wet-in-wet to indicate clouds, waves, variations in sand texture.

2) Once the previous wash has dried, add all the darker values with your flat brush and a size 4-8 round brush. The corner of your flat brush can be used to add small details too.
Paper: Winsor and Newton Sketchbook (100% cotton)
Paint: Daniel Smith/Schmincke Horadam (mainly lemon yellow, cobalt blue, pyrrole red)
Brushes: 3/4 flat brush or smaller, 4-6 round brush
