Niederberger, the only Republican who filed to run against Young, argued he met the signature requirement in every county, aside from Marion County, where he said the county simply did not return the signatures he had turned in on time for him to submit them to the state.

"What Marion County did to me is completely ridiculous, and I want it on the record," said Niederberger, a favorite among the most conservative wing of the party. "I played by the rules."

The Marion County Board of Voter Registration staff did not immediately return request for comment. Send these skanks some love if you want to. They deserve to be removed from office for this. They helped to make certain the anti second amendment candidate had no opposition from within.

Indiana Election Commissioner Karen Celestino-Horseman, a Democrat, said she agreed with Niederberger that Indiana law should be more clear about how long each county has to verify signatures.

“Unfortunately we’re not the legislature,” Celestino-Horseman said. “So we can’t make a change to the law.”

Katie Hobbs is now running against Kari Lake for the governorship. Rafsenberger is now pimping the insurrection line for the democrats jan 6th commission.
