In this episode of Daddy and The Big Boy, Ben shares how singer-songwriter and actor Mac Davis was one of his heroes. Davis was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. He wrote hit songs for Elvis Presley, Kenny Rogers, Bobby Goldsboro, Bruno Mars and many others. Of course, he wrote hits for
himself " I Believe In Music", "Stop and Smell the Roses" and "It’s Hard To Be Humble" just to name a few. He hosted his own TV show, guest starred on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson numerous times and hosted Christmas Specials. He made his acting debut in North Dallas Forty with Nick Nolte and the late G.D. Spradlin. This little YouTube show began production the first day Californians were ordered to stay home to stop the spread of the Coronavirus.
